Wrapped Wire Connector Grip
This grip is designed to facilitate the testing of wrapped wire connections and terminations. The grip is formed in an "L' shape that can be notched by the user to any desired dimension to accommodate a connection post. During a test, the fixture is slipped over the terminal post below the wire wrap. When a tension load is applied, the grip engages the wrap and pulls it off the post.

Cam Operated Smooth Faced Grip

Terminal Testing Turret

Wire Terminal Testing Fixture
This fixture has been specifically designed to test the ultimate strength of wire/terminal connections. The upper grip consists of a self-aligning wheel, which features nine equally spaced slots to hold standard terminal shank sizes. Ring terminals are secured with a pin in line with the largest slot. The bottom grip has an eccentrically mounted self-tightening knurled roller, which will accept wire up to 3.2 mm (0.13 in) in diameter.

Grooved Snubber 1/16 in Wire Grips
The grooved snubber and post design of this grip ensures centre break of flexible wire up to 1.6 mm (0.06 in) in diameter.
This grip may also be used for testing cord, rubber or filaments. A 25 mm (0.98 in) diameter snubber is mounted on the swivelling plate so that the specimen will align with the force when load is applied. A ball socket mounting screw in the upper grip maintains accurate alignment of the upper and lower grips. Maximum specimen diameter is 2 mm (1/16 in).

This grip is designed for reliable centre breaks, quick installation and easy release of the specimen. The grip utilises three non-locking pins for wrapping the specimen in a "figure 8" pattern.
